The ACLU of Idaho's office in Boise receives up to 50 complaints of civil rights violations each day. All around the state, our volunteer cooperating attorneys do a remarkable job of acting on complaints that present constitutional issues. The ACLU of Idaho has a full-time staff attorney who coordinates litigation with cooperating attorneys and initiates important litigation in defense of constitutional freedoms. Additional support is needed to help with our legal program.

Litigation and legal advocacy

This information describes the numerous and varied issues in which the American Civil Liberties Union of Idaho has fought to protect individual rights in our state, either through litigation, legal assistance, or other advocacy.
