We cordially invite you to join us for our very first criminal justice town hall meeting.
The Fair Chance Employment Town Hall will be an opportunity to learn about the current obstacles Idahoans face when returning home after incarceration.
This event is free and open to the public.
The discussion will include panelists who’ll provide first-hand insights on the stigma associated with having a criminal conviction and previously being incarcerated and its influence on transitioning back into the community. These insights highlight the need for policies that support Idahoans being able to return to the workforce, provide for their families, and contribute to Idaho’s thriving economy.
Fair Chance Employment Panelists
- Sen. Cheri Buckner-Webb - Idaho State Senator
- Erika Birch - employment and labor law attorney
- Bryan Atwell - criminal justice advocate
- Joe Howell - criminal justice advocate, owner, Ace Industrial Supply
We are also happy to announce the official release of our very first Idaho Blueprint Report, which details state-specific data on incarceration rates, criminal justice trends, and proposed solutions and policies that Idaho lawmakers and agencies can take action on to address our prison over-population.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
**Light refreshments will be provided.
