Add The Words 2019 legislative Launch

SB 1015 brings about long over-due protections for Idaho’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by adding “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” to Idaho’s Human Rights Act. This would prevent LGBTQ Idahoans from facing further discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations. By amending the Idaho Human Rights Act, we can ensure that all Idahoans are treated equally under the law and can continue to contribute to our economy and local businesses without fear of unnecessary discrimination while participating in public life.
