This bill restores access to critical crime victims’ services for undocumented folks.

The bill re-establishes Idaho's victims of crime statutes so people can access crime-victim compensation without first proving immigration status. This access was originally stripped away from undocumented Idahoans through a new law in 2025.

This means beginning July of 2026, crime victims will again have access to services and support, regardless of immigration status.
