2020 – SB 1385 – Criminalize Abortion

​​​​​​SB 1385 attempts to criminalize abortion in Idaho if Roe v. Wade is overturned, or if federal legislation is passed that would permit Idaho to bar access to abortion care. This legislation would prevent Idaho women from accessing safe and long-held legally protected abortion care, which is a critical component of their health and dignity, as well as independence, freedom, and social and economic equality.
