Would grant the Director of the Department of Administration, Director of the Idaho State Police, and designees from either agency sole discretionary power to remove – and ban for a year –someone from the Idaho statehouse and Supreme Courthouse, and for ill-defined reasons (ex: “threatening” or actually disrupting government business).

The bill also restricts certain kinds of speech by redefining terms like “camp” and “camping,” and by introducing time restrictions on symbolic protests involving tents. Violating the law could result in a range of criminal charges, including felonies, misdemeanors, steep fines, and lengthy terms of incarceration.
