Expands ban on Pride flags from government buildings by introducing a civil penalty of $2,000 per flag per day for governmental entities that fail to comply with these provisions, with enforcement responsibilities assigned to the attorney general.

Supporting the Pride flag communicates that all people, especially LGBTQ+ folks, have safety, value, and acceptance in our community. Banning flags is a clear infringement on the First Amendment, and is a dangerous step toward controlling how people think and speak in public places.

Expression isn't political, and inclusion shouldn't be, either.
