Urge Your Elected Officials to Protect NDOs

Tell your Idaho senators, city council members, and mayor to protect non-discrimination ordinances in your community.

HB 557 was a bill introduced in 2026 to limit local control by restricting the ability of cities and counties to make decisions that reflect their local needs. It would have shifted authority away from local governments and residents, creating a one-size-fits-all approach that could negatively impact Idaho communities.

While this bill failed in the Senate, we expect a similar effort to ban NDOs in 2027. We still encourage Idahoans to contact their elected officials and demand that they protect NDOs.

You can use the email template below and adjust it to your concerns. Your voice matters and they need to hear it now.
